THE LEAGUE TO AID ABUSED CHILDREN AND ADULTS, INC.
In 1980, Pat Watters and Marilyn Johansen recognized that child abuse was a problem in St. Petersburg. They assembled a group of like-minded women with the goal of providing financial aid for direct services to abused children and the Infinity Club, Inc. was born.
In 1985, Infinity Club, Inc. was renamed and incorporated as Infinity, The League to Aid Abused Children and Adults, Inc. For over 37 years this 501(c)(3) organization of over 160 philanthropic members of the community has provided funds for CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse), Brookwood Florida, Inc. (residential home for girls) and the Suncoast Center, Inc.'s medical and foster care program.
Each year, Infinity raises thousands of dollars through major fundraising events and private donations. If you would like to join Infinity, please check out our membership page or Contact Us.
